The Rubber Duck Museum

FAQ

Questions are part of the adventure.
Whether you’re planning your first visit or wondering how our tiny yellow icon earned a museum of its own, this page has the essentials. If you’re already holding a duck and browsing with a smile, you’re in the right place.

Do I need a ticket to visit?
No tickets, no reservations. Just wander in during mall hours and enjoy the museum at your own pace.
Where exactly are you located in the mall?
You’ll find us at Entry 3, right beside Sage and Fly-O-Land. If you’ve reached Shoppers Drug Mart or Emoji Planet Arcade, you’ve gone a bit too far—turn back and you’ll spot us.
Is photography allowed?
Absolutely. Take as many photos as you’d like. If you share them, we’d love for you to tag #TheRubberDuckMuseum and #TsawwassenMills so others can discover us too.
Do you buy or accept donated duck collections?
We’re always grateful for additions to the flock. Donations are welcome in-store, or you can mail them to:5000 Canoe Pass Way, Unit 302, Tsawwassen, BC V4M 0B3If you’re hoping to sell a collection, feel free to reach out—we consider unique or historically significant pieces individually.
What makes you different from other rubber duck stores?
What makes you different from other rubber duck stores? We’re the world’s first and only historical Rubber Duck Museum, tracing the duck’s story from its earliest pre-patent ancestors all the way to modern designs. The shop surrounds the museum, but the heart of the experience is the timeline and the artifacts that bring the history to life.
What are your hours?
We follow all Tsawwassen Mills mall hours. You can always see the most up-to-date schedule here: https://www.tsawwassenmills.com/location-hours/
Are the artifacts real?
Yes. Every artifact on display is authentic. Many pieces include documentation or provenance, including our screen-used Ernie Ducks, which are accompanied by their certificates of authenticity.
